Woman learns shocking truth about her supposed sister after eleven years

Penarth (UK) - For over a decade, Megan Phillips (31) believed she lived with her parents and older sister. But in truth, the actual family constellation was completely different. On TikTok , the British woman explains how it all came out and how she is now dealing with the shocking discovery.

It is now 20 years since Megan mysteriously learned that she had not grown up with her biological parents. A stranger suddenly approached her at school and revealed the true identity of her supposed sister.

The woman, who was 15 years older than her, was supposed to be Megan's biological mother.

At first, the British woman from Penarth could not believe the stranger's words, but when she returned home later and looked for proof, she discovered a photo of her supposed big sister with a newborn baby in her arms. She then read both her "sister's" name and her own on the back.

She then confronted her supposed sister with the unbelievable discovery, which led to a tearful conversation in which everything came to light.

"My birth mother got pregnant at 14 and had me at 15," explains the Brit in her video. After Megan's birth, her grandparents agreed to raise her as their own child. However, they wanted to keep the truth under wraps.

They also led Megan to believe that she had a sister - when it was actually her biological mother.

The now 31-year-old emphasizes that she had a very happy childhood and is still "closely connected" to both her foster parents and her biological mother after the revelation.

She loves her grandparents and would always refer to the couple as her parents.
